Promoted to Mechanical Engineering Manager

Drew is a 2011 graduate of Calvin University (formerly Calvin College) in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  There he earned his Bachelor of Science in Engineering - Mechanical Concentration, with a minor in Mathematics. Drew began his career with Granco Clark in 2008 through an internship. He has spent the last 12 years with our company as an invaluable member of Granco Clark’s Mechanical Engineering Department.

He has demonstrated innovative skills over the last several years and into his new management role. Drew has been a catalyst in our company, driving positive design change in many areas, but specifically wherever thermal systems or fluid sciences are involved. His influence can be seen in recent developments to furnaces, billet quenches, and extrusion quenches, just to name a few. He has shown his commitment to evolving future equipment to exceed customers’ expectations.

Regarding his career with Granco, Clark Drew says, “To be part of a company that continually seeks to serve the non-ferrous extrusion industry – rather than one that simply exists to sell products – is a true honor.  Growing up here in Belding, Michigan I had no idea the opportunity to be part of such an impactful company was just around the corner from my childhood home. I am proud of all that Granco Clark has accomplished and I am grateful to have been a part of its achievements for the past decade.  I look forward to many, many more years of serving alongside all of my friends here at Granco Clark.”
